The PKYKL is a society that focussed its activities in the last 12 years conduction several activities for SRJK Tamil schools namely;
Personal hygiene talks to school students
Providing guidance towards their career
Donating notebooks to primary school children
Donating fans to new newly developed school annexes
Health talks to school teachers
Talks on career and health issues to MYSKILLS ……
Donated a Laptop to a Tamil School in SRJKT Jalan Acob, Kapar
Eye –Screening at Thaipusam in collaboration with THONEH
Motivational talks to students facing examinations
Upcoming Projects
In 2017, the society wishes to initiate a new meaningful project for Tamil Schools which has been a long term desire of the President.
This finding triggered the President and the advisor of the society to search the web for similar activities done in Tamil Schools in Malaysia in the Past. SRJK Tamil Sentul has a no of desktops in the school further enhanced by the support by smart boards which reported an improvement in the performance of the students over 2 years.
The society plans to play a role in improving ICT knowledge of Tamil primary School children which is hoped will result in better academic performance.
We have been closely associated with Saiva Siddathanta Mandram Malaysia(SSMM) which manages two charity homes namely Rumah Kebajikan ANBU IILAM and KARUNAI ILLAM respectively. The donation was generously contributed by members of Persatuan Kebajikan Yenippadigal KL. Donation cheque was handed over by our President to SSMMPresident MR.M.Tarmothran and Secretary Mrs.ShamalaDevi Dhanabalan on 9th September, 2019.
